Trim the ends from the broccolini. Cut the bunches in half if the stems are too thick. Slice the lemon and garlic into thin slices.
Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add 2 tablespoons of olive oil, broccolini, lemon slices, salt, and garlic to the skillet. Cook for 5-7 minutes, moving everything around every minute or so so nothing burns.
Pour in the 4 tablespoons of water. Cook for another 2 minutes while the water cooks off and the stems soften.
Place everything from the skillet on a platter to serve. Drizzle with the remaining 1 tablespoon of olive oil.
