Radishes with Butter and Salt is a classic French snack that’s best enjoyed with a fresh baguette. With a quick 5-minute prep time, you can quickly serve this easy appetizer for parties, picnics, or to celebrate spring!
Prep and wash the radishes in cold water. Pat them dry with a paper towel. Cut them in half or in quarters if radishes are larger, keep the greens attached to the radishes.
Add radishes and softened butter to a plate or wooden board. Sprinkle with flaky sea salt. To serve, using a butter knife, add butter and salt on a radish and enjoy. Serve on its own or with sliced baguette.
Notes
Butter Tip: If you are short on time and don't have softened butter, place your butter on a plate. Then add boiling water to a mason jar, let it sit for 15 seconds, dump the water out and place the hot jar on top of the butter. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes and you will have room temperature butter in no time.
