Ingredients

strawberries
hulled and halved

For the Honey Lime Dressing:

honey

tablespoon
lime juice
freshly squeezed

teaspoon
lime zest
Instructions
In a small bowl, whisk together the honey, fresh lime juice, and lime zest until smooth and well combined.
Wash, peel, and slice all of the fruit as needed, then finely chop the mint leaves.
Place the prepared fruit and mint in a large mixing bowl.
Pour the honey-lime dressing over the fruit and gently toss until everything is evenly coated.
Serve immediately, or refrigerate for up to 2 hours before serving. If adding banana, slice and add it just before serving to keep it fresh.
Notes
Use ripe but firm fruit so the salad holds its shape and doesn’t get mushy.
Chill the fruit before mixing to keep the salad cool and refreshing.
Zest the lime before juicing it to make the process easier and avoid waste.
Whisk the dressing until smooth so the honey blends evenly with the lime juice.
Toss the salad gently to keep delicate fruits like berries from breaking apart.
Add bananas or apples just before serving to prevent browning.
For extra flavor, let the salad sit in the fridge for 15–20 minutes before serving to let the dressing soak in.
Swap honey for maple syrup or agave if you prefer a vegan option.
Sprinkle fresh mint or basil on top right before serving for a bright finish.
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 days and stir gently before serving again.
