These are my go-to fall recipes for easy dinners, cozy weekends, and relaxed hosting. This list includes everything from hearty soups and easy fall meals to quick Instant Pot dinners and satisfying sides.

I’ve also included simple appetizers, air fryer staples, and easy breakfasts so you can plan a full week of meals without overthinking it. Most of these recipes use basic ingredients, and a lot of them can be made ahead.

If you’re looking for straightforward meals with solid flavor, this is a great place to start. These are the fall recipes I rely on the most, and I think you’ll find a few new favorites too.

Soups to Warm the Season

  • There’s nothing quite like a big pot of Olive Garden Zuppa Toscana Soup simmering on the stove, packed with sausage, kale, and potatoes in a creamy broth.
  • For something simple and elegant, Roasted Tomato Soup is sweet, velvety, and just begging for a grilled cheese sandwich on the side.
  • Everything you love about lasagna shows up in Easy Creamy Lasagna Soup, where tender noodles, sausage, and melty cheese come together in one pot.
  • And if you love a little heat, Creamy Chicken Tortilla Soup layers smoky spices with shredded chicken, black beans, and crispy tortilla strips.

Appetizers That Start Strong

  • Savory, cheesy, and full of flavor, French Onion Chicken Meatballs are a cozy meatball take on the classic soup.
  • Bright and colorful, Mini Stuffed Peppers are easy to prep ahead and perfect for game day or holiday spreads.
  • Mini Baked Potatoes come out crisp on the outside and creamy inside, especially delicious with a dollop of sour cream or crispy bacon on top.
  • You only need a few pantry staples to make Bread Dipping Oil, the kind of starter that keeps everyone reaching for more crusty bread.
  • Antipasto Bites layer cheese, cured meats, olives, and veggies in one neat little bite that packs a punch.
  • And when you’re feeling bold, serve up Classic Steak Tartare for rich, savory flavor with a touch of elegance. It’s a reader favorite for a reason!
